15510 Tibetan Old Yak Bone Skull Rosary, 54 Beads Held in Hand
1990s
This string, held in hand, mainly features old yak bone with a rich patina and faint bone texture, paired with old turquoise (subtle porcelain-like quality, with iron veins and worn surface), old Xueba (color as mellow red as old coral, surface with a ghee-like sheen, wear at the holes from long-term threading), old filigree agate with slight weathering, and an old conch Gasa flower Buddha head with a smooth patina and conch shell pattern (obvious wear marks in the threading holes), an old Tian Tie Vajra with a mature patina, and counters with even patina.
These materials, carrying the traces of time, blend the winds of the plateau and the light of the temple into every wear and tear. The ice crack of the old turquoise is like the lines of time on your palm, the ghee-like sheen of the old Xueba is like the lingering warmth of incense, and the patina on the bone beads reflects countless touches from fingertips.
Holding it feels like holding a handful of old times softened by the wind—the wear marks are the signature of time, the patina is time's seal, and the stories hidden in the textures become the simplest interpretation of 'lasting' in your heart.
